Short CoursesDesign Thinking for Crisis and Disruption: a virtual theatre immersive learning experience
Developing a design mindset for the next normal
In times of crisis and disruption, developing a design mindset that optimises the principles and practices of design thinking to solve BHAP’s (Big, Hairy, Audacious Problems) is a key capability for surviving and thriving through COVID-19 and beyond.
The D-VUCAD context within which we live and work requires design thinkers who are collaborators, believers, care about others and make them feel safe, are able to empathise despite all the noise and synthesise what the insight really is.
Developing a design thinking mindset focuses us on how to look at the challenges around us and in so doing, helps us adapt to the process of being more human-centred and open to the right direction – toward innovation.
You will be immersed as a Cast member in a live virtual theatre for a day, designing your theatre production with your Cast that will be broadcast with other Cast productions on the morning of day two. You will receive feedback from your audience and the theatre team.
