It gives us immense pride to convey that Regenesys Institute of Management conducted a training session of 90 minutes for the top management team of the State Bank of India (SBI) on Ind AS (IFRS implementation in India).
SBI is the largest bank in India, with more than 2,20,000 employees. SBI is also very well known for its people development and organisational development practices.
This session was attended by Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya, SBI Chairperson; Mr.
B Sriram, Managing Director; Mr. P K Gupta, Managing Director and Deputy Managing Directors and Chief General Managers (CGMs). The programme was conducted in the SBI Board Room on the 18th floor at their Corporate Centre in Mumbai on August 8th, 2016.
The session was extremely interactive and members of the top management team of SBI asked a lot of questions – which were responded to by the expert faculty member from Regenesys.
Mr. Debashish Sarkar CGM, STU , SBI delivered the opening address, in which he mentioned that 120 credit officers of SBI have already been trained by Regenesys with the average feedback score of 4.80 (out of a maximum score of 5.00). This is a testament to the quality of training programmes delivered by Regenesys.
In his concluding remarks, Mr Sarkar thanked Regenesys for conducting the session for the top management team – and also emphasised the need for equipping the identified staff members of SBI with knowledge and skills related to Ind AS implementation.
This session puts Regenesys in the company of a select few international business Schools (such as Harvard, Stanford and Wharton) that have delivered programmes individually and collectively to the top management team of SBI.
